New York Times Gaming Avatars
There is a Gallery of people, and what they look like verses their avatars. I especially like how it seems to be focused on games (City of Heroes and Second Life) that give a wide range of control about the looks of your avatar. I mean how hard is it for other games I don't know if it good to have your Avatar look like you or not, most of the games I play now I usually like to create a hefty bloke with beard, unless it was World of Warcraft, then I liked playing the female Dwarf since they were rare at the time.

I don't like Che
I am not saying what my political views are, I just really don't like Che shirts. Lots of people wear these Che shirts and I ask them if they knew who he was and what he did, and most of them did not know. If you are going to wear a shirt then and least try to UNDERSTAND IT. It makes me want to wear an anti-che shirt, like the following

Ok, so I don't know if you know what 419 Scams are, but I find myself recently addicted to a web site called 419eater. The do something call scam baiting, Scam baiting is the practice of pretending interest in scam in order to manipulate the scammer. Stop Targeting me RodIf you have read my previous posts you probably heard of a program called Silicon Chalk. For those of you who don't know, this program is often used to record lectures and presentation for later viewing, this program can also regulate what programs the participants in the lecture are using. Ok that is fair enough, obviously you don't want people to be playing games during your class or listening to music. However this program lets you target specific members of the lecture, and me for some reason, I am being targeted. Now I know what you guys are probably saying, that I am not the most attentive student. However I don't watch youTube videos during class, and play internet poker. Yet I see those things going on other peoples screens and yet SiliconChalk sees it fit to shut-down my Internet Explorer and Firefox. I try to take my notes in Google Docs however I am receiving messages from Internet Explorer and Firefox asking me if I would like to close my tabs (if I didn't have tabs open, the program would be forced to quit thus making me loose whatever I had open). Then I think the instructor notices me being targeted so he then he sicks Silicon Chalk onto the other students in my row. I find it me, who is generally quiet however I do my best to participate in the lectures, meanwhile there are people in the back of the class that are talking and do not understand the word SHUT UP and I am the one who is being targeted. For a while I would create documents called "Leave me the fuck alone Rod", since Microsoft word changes the title of their program to match the document that is open. So if he ever sees what programs I am running, he will see "Leave me the fuck alone Rod.doc - Microsoft Word" on his screen. He also calls upon me many more in time in class then the other students. At first I thought I was paranoid, however other students have noticed it as well. Asking me what I did to piss off Rod, and why he automatically disregards my examples and thoughts because of me being from a Heavy Equipment background, (oh and when I typed that, he passed out the air/water separator for a John Deer skid steer) (funny, how this all started to happen when I put the I volunteer for ARGRA in my ePortfolio with SAIT) All I have to do is put up with this for another year and a half... Well I got this Live Journal software installed, so I hope it will get me to write in my Live journal more often. BearCitiAs some of you may have recalled, I canceled my account with bear411(may or may not be NSFW), one of the main reasons why I cancelled my membearship *groan* was because I really did not like the site and also I am dating/with caestus. It would delete messages that contained certain key words (ie, even the name of a site), the programming seemed really hastily done (bandwidth efficiency didn't seem to be a concern), I didn't like the lay out of the site and also would charge to look at other pictures (there is a work around it however). However since I am a bit of a social bug, and I love chatting with people I created a profile on BearCiti.  I am liking it so far, I am already chatting with some people and have been added to some people "My Type", I am kinda afraid of adding people as my type because I wouldn't want to offend people for not adding them or such and also I think my list might be to big. Anyways I am still new to the site so I will tell you guys as it goes what I think. |
